Rubbish and Recycling

General waste should be disposed of in the big black bins at Cleveland Square. For information on recycling collection times and nearby micro-recycling centres check Westminster Council’s website. At no times should rubbish or recycling be left in the common parts of the building, this includes no dumping in the portico outside the front door.

Bicycles

Residents with bicycles are encouraged to sign up for secure parking in one of Westminster’s Secure Cycle Hangars locally. Until then, one bicycle per flat may be temporarily stored on the flat roof with the landlord’s permission, if due care is taken when moving them. No bicycles to be stored or left unattended anywhere else on the property. This includes no bicycles to be chained to the railings of the portico or basement.

Noise

Building Works or noisy DIY to be done in permitted hours only: 8am-6pm Mon-Fri 8am-1pm Saturday Exceptions only in emergencies.

Please be considerate of your neighbours. The volume of any music must not cause disturbance to other residents, and any noisy activities, including operating washing machines, between 11.00pm and 8.00am.

In exceptional circumstances, the landlord or their agent may give permission subject to notices being circulated with more than 48 hours’ notice to all the flats in the block.

Use of flat roof

Not to be used for parties, gatherings, entertainment or food preparation.

Common Parts

In accordance with the latest fire obligations the stairs, landings and hallways are to be kept free of any personal effects, including scooters, buggies, prams, bicycles, shoes etc.
